What is Career Drop-in Advising (CDA)?
During Career Drop-in Advising (CDA), students meet one-on-one with a professional Career Coach for 10–15 minutes to quickly discuss career-related questions, such as searching for jobs or internships, reviewing a resume, CV, cover letter, or LinkedIn profile, exploring career paths, preparing for interviews, evaluating job offers, negotiating salary, and almost anything else career-focused.*

Visit The Career Center Monday through Friday between 11 a.m.–1 p.m. or 2–4 p.m. Check in at the front desk to meet one-on-one with our Career Drop-in Advising Career Coach.

Who will I meet during Career Drop-in Advising?
You'll meet privately, one-on-one, with a professionally trained Career Coach who has experience supporting students of all majors and class levels. Our Career Coach provides personalized guidance to help you make the most of your 10–15-minute drop-in visit and leave with clear next steps.*
You do not need to bring anything specific. If it will be helpful, you may wish to bring a notebook or laptop to take notes. If you'd like feedback on a document, such as a resume, CV, or cover letter, you can bring it with you or have it available on your tablet or laptop.
Our Career Coach will assist you with any career-related concerns by connecting you to relevant resources and accurate information. During these 10-15 minute appointments, you might learn about resources for finding an internship, strategies for choosing a major, or tips for an upcoming interview.*
