Spring Closures
The Career Center is currently open regular hours for all services! Please check back here for any upcoming special hours.
The resource center is closed for Spring Break, March 17-21, 2025. If you have a one-on-one in person appointment with a Career Advisor, please wait in the hallway. Your advisor will come and greet you.
The Career Center will be closed on May 26, 2025, for Memorial Day.

If you lost or found something in our office or a university classroom during one of our events, please contact us at: careercenter@illinois.edu or 217-333-0820. For any of our events held at campus venues like the Illini Union, ARC, or a cultural house, please contact them directly.

A great headshot ensures you make the best impression possible. The Career Center and the Illini Union are excited to bring back the Professional Portrait Lab, offering free professional headshots for students to use on LinkedIn, Twitter, personal websites, directories, and more.
Spring Semester Hours
- Tuesdays | 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- Thursdays | 3 - 5 p.m.
- Fridays | 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Illini Union, Room 335
Each headshot session lasts approximately 3-5 minutes and includes a professional background, lighting, and equipment. You will have the opportunity to review your digital photo before leaving. Your headshot will be emailed to you via WeTransfer within minutes of your visit, so please check your inbox and junk email folder as soon as possible. The headshot will be available for download for three (3) days.
